The Competition Law Study Group was set up to assist the Party in opposition and Government with advice on competition law based on business experience and technical knowledge.

E-commerce and Competition
A News Release was put out by the OFT regarding their publication entitled E-commerce and its implications for competition policy.  The paper is available from www.oft.gov.uk

John Bridgeman was succeeded by Professor John Vickers, Chief Economist and Executive Director of the Bank of England.
